Festive Holiday Camps (5 - 11yrs)
Cottenham Pavilion
At MiniMe Mindfulness, we run fun sessions for children filled with meditations, stories, music, dancing. games, activities and crafts to allow them to explore the Superpowers they have within themselves to help them support their own mental health and wellbeing. It's all about developing self aware …moreness and self regulation skills (Superpowers)! Each session is focused around a particular Superpower to introduce children to an idea/practice that shows them how they can support the way they feel and regulate nervous systems. This is done in a way that promotes fun, confidence and being active with others. As well as Mindfulness, exploring our Mindset is a big element of the sessions. What better time of year than at the end of one and the start of a brand new one, to think about how we will be most successful over the year by thinking about how we use our minds to guide us in the year ahead? We do this through having fun! Our Mindset is about the attitude and the Mindfulness bit helps us to self regulate through the emotions this may bring. A great combination to start developing at the beginning of a new year where there is everything out in front of us! This year we will be making our own 'Feel Good Fox' cuddly toys at our December camp. This is a special Christmas activity and I know how much the children love cuddling my Feel Good Fox. Now they get to make their very own one to take home to remind them of the Superpowers that help them to 'Feel Good'! I just know they're going to love it! They just need a packed lunch, two snacks (one for the morning and one for the afternoon), a drink, comfy clothes and a coat in case we can get outside for a bit! NB - where the prices above mention FULL WEEK, this is the cost for both the December and January camps. less
