At MiniMe Mindfulness, we run fun sessions for children filled with meditations, stories, music, games and crafts to allow them to explore the Superpowers they have within themselves to help them support their own mental health & well-being whilst growing their confidence. Each session is focused around a particular 'Superpower' to introduce children to an idea/practice that shows them how they can support the way they feel and regulate nervous systems. There are 25 Superpowers in total so lots to delve into! This is done in a way that promotes fun and being active with others. Lots of friendships are made as we play and learn new skills together. We are offering three consecutive camp days at the beginning of the Summer holidays: Monday 23rd - Friday 25th July for just £99. We are also offering two consecutive camp days at the other end of the holiday: Monday 1st September - Tuesday 2nd September for £70. Individual days can be booked for £40. The Superpowers being explored will be outlined nearer to the time. Children attending all day will need a packed lunch and a break time will be given in both the morning and afternoon in which they can have a snack and drink if they wish. Cottenham Pavilion is right next to the Rec. We will use outside for breaks and some activities, weather permitting. A jumper or coat is therefore recommended and hopefully a sun hat/cream! Many of the children that have attended MiniMe sessions before will have purchased a starter kit which contains a MiniMe T-shirt (don't forget to wear your t-shirt if you already have one!), journal to continue practices at home (highly recommended) and a MiniMe drawstring bag to put it in! These are a delightful pack to receive at the start of session and the T-shirt really helps to bond the children together as a group.
